The world renowned woodblock artist Kiyoshi Saito’s works are exhibited here. He continued working on his art even after he turned 90 years old, and spent his last year in Yanaizu. You can appreciate his art works made using a variety of art techniques including his representative work called “Aizu-no-fuyu” (which means “winter in Aizu”), and other works such as oil paintings, woodprints, printmaking, and ink and wash paintings.
